Welcome To Our 2010 Season

Club Details

This season the club is running three teams, two teams in the South Wales Cricket League, plus a Third XI. Sundays we play friendly fixtures. Several Youth Sides Under 15's, Under 13's & Under 11's play in the Gwent Youth Cricket League.

Seniors/u17's/u15's - Tuesday 7pm til 9pm.    Under 13's - Saturday 10:30 til 12 noon.
Under 11's - Saturday 9am til 10:30 am.    Under 9's - Monday 6 pm til 7 pm.

Ebbw Beat Brecon

BRECON 193 FOR 9

Ebbw secured an important victory over Brecon on Saturday which was a double pointer given the position of both clubs in the lower reaches of Division two of the Glamorgan and Monmouthshire. This victory though will give Vale hope of a mid table finish with two games remaining.

Loss For The Seconds

LISVAN 2ND XI 246 FOR 9
EBBW VALE 194 ALL OUT

Ebbw Vale 2nd XI visited top of the league Lisvane looking to complete the double over their Cardiff rivals and to keep up their promotion push. Winning the toss, Vale asked the home side to bat.  Despite Lisvane looking as if they had no one in their line up that could take the game away from Vale, a combination of some very sloppy fielding and a little luck saw them post a useful total of 246 for 9. Pick of the Vale bowlers were Gareth Williams with 1 for 24 off 8 and Ryan Morgan with 3 for 55.
